Meet Our Team

Document Scan Ltd have 6 excellent members of staff who are highly skilled in the digitisation of paper records and have a combined experience of 40 years.

Our team is split up between dedicated preppers and scanning operatives. The preppers are responsible for preparing the files ready to scan. This involves removing all bindings and staples, ironing out any creases in the paper, re-positioning post-it notes so they don’t cover any information as well as making sure the file is as neat and optimised as possible ready to be put through the scanner.

The scanning operatives will then take the prepared files and scan and index the files as per the client’s requirements. They will also perform no less than 3 quality checks during the entire process to make sure that every single piece of information is captured and nothing is missed. Once scanned and indexed they will go back through the file checking every single page and making sure the quality is as high as possible.

Our highly experienced team are responsible for preparing and scanning in excess of 50,000 pages each day and all of our staff are security vetted.

Matt Cooper

Director

Matt grew up in North Devon and has a background in Legal I.T, working as I.C.T manager for a number of Solicitors firms before co-founding his own I.T support company in 2007 called Web Based Solutions.

Following a successful 3 years, Web Based Solutions started to offer local businesses a document scanning service in 2010 which proved to be very popular. The document scanning side of the business grew so fast that less than 12 months later Document Scan was formed.

Today Matt is one of Document Scan’s directors.

When not at work, Matt enjoys spending time with his young family, renovating the family home and flying light aircraft, both real ones and radio controlled ones.

Dan Clarke

Director

Dan grew up in North Devon and has a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Multimedia Computing.

Dan has a background in Legal I.T and web development working within in the I.T department for a number of Solicitors firms before co-founding his own I.T support company in 2007 called Web Based Solutions.

Following a successful 3 years, Web Based Solutions started to offer local businesses a document scanning service in 2010 which proved to be very popular. The document scanning side of the business grew so fast that less than 12 months later Document Scan was formed.

Today Dan is one of Document Scan’s directors.

When not at work Dan enjoys clay pigeon shooting, tennis and metal detecting as well as having a love for classic cars.
